Our Dentists

Dr. Hanzel Pinto

General Dentist

Dr. Hanzel Pinto graduated from the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry in 2017. He practices family and cosmetic dentistry with a special interest in endodontics (root canals) and implant dentistry. He often treats anxious patients with conscious sedation and finds great satisfaction in helping them get through their discomfort.

Dr. Pinto is a proud resident of Wasaga Beach and loves the outdoors. When not at the office you may find him hiking, climbing, skiing or paddling in the bountiful nature of the south Georgian bay.
Dr. Pius Kim

Orthodontist

With 30 years dedicated to the dental profession since graduating from University of Toronto in 1985, Pius has served in the GTA area these past 17 years as orthodontist, after earning his Masters degree in Clinical Dentistry, M.Cl.D.,(Orthodontics) from University of Western Ontario, London.

Pius has also proudly served as Captain with the Canadian Armed Forces Dental Services while stationed in CFB Greenwood, Nova Scotia and CFB Kingston, Ontario. He received his order of Fellowship in the Royal College of Dentists of Canada (F.R.C.D.(C)) and is an Associate in Dentistry at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto.

A consummate handyman, avid golfer and curler, Pius is excited to be joining the Stayner Dental Team.
Dr. Ted Proctor

General Dentist

This year Ted will celebrate 30 years in dentistry. While Ted enjoys all aspects of dentistry he has a particularly interest in implants and cosmetic dentistry. Ted's experience with implant placement and restoration, helps us at the Stayner Dental Centre to provide our patients with a "one-stop" office for most of their dental needs. Complex dental cases are another one of Ted's areas of interest and he enjoys the challenge of solving those dental problems for our patients.

Ted is extremely involved with his family, his church and his community. He leads or participates in an annual mission trip to developing nations to provide dental care for the needy.
Dr. Todd Kaiway

General Dentist

Dr. Todd Kaiway graduated from the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry at Western University. He practices general dentistry and enjoys the breadth of treatments he performs from complex and aesthetic fillings to root canals and crowns and beyond.

Dr. Kaiway recently moved back to the area after practicing on the West Coast. Fun fact - he previously taught high school in Simcoe County, mainly at Collingwood Collegiate, before returning for his dental education.

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife Katie and daughter Hannah, as well as Golfing, Hockey, and his newest passion, curling.
